![]() Whilst most of the main dive sites around Dahab are easily accessible by vehicle, some sites can only be reached by boat or by camel. Camel safaris, in particular, are a great way of combining some pristine dive sites with a truly unique Egyptian experience, which, (as far as we know) is only available in the Dahab area. Most divers have been boat diving, but how many divers have reached dive sites via "the ship of the desert". Other trips are available by boat from Dahab or Sharm, the most popular being to the wreck of the "Thistlegorm" and Ras Mohammed national park.
